Solo Acrobatics is great for anyone who wants to learn or improve their acrobatic skills.
It’s a great way to build body strength, co-ordination, range of movement and awareness. It requires focus, whilst being physically active and is great for both your physical and mental health. Did I mention that it is super fun?!
Care is taken to build on a good foundation and work from the basics up. Skills can then be performed effortlessly and without injury. Each class will involve specific strengthening and mobility exercises, all tailored to each individuals needs.
Depending on your current skill level, we will work on skills such as rolls, handstands, cartwheels, walkovers, backflips, aerials and somersaults. We will also work on linking different acrobatic skills together and performing them in different ways, making use of different directions, heights and even synchronisation.
Dancers, Circus Performers and other Performers can all benefit from Acrobatics. Set yourself apart from the competition by having those extra skills that can be worked into choreography, performances and auditions.
The classes are taught by Jaymie-Leigh, a Circus Performer who grew up as a competitive Gymnast. She holds coaching qualifications in both Gymnastics and Tumbling, is a qualified Personal Trainer and loves helping people find their flow in Acrobatics.
Classes are suitable for all levels!!
Unfortunately, Acrobatic Movement are not running any Solo Acrobatics classes at this time, but we do offer Private Coaching. To find out more, head over to our Private Coaching page.
